Day 15
My favorite pictures to take are those of my son playing Ice Hockey. My son plays defense and this is a picture of him preventing a goal.

Day 4
This challenge is not going to be easy. I had about 20 minutes to take a picture for todays post. I am disappointed in the pictures, but I guess that is what this challenge is about. I did not really have an attachment to any of the pictures so I attached three pictures. I actually am very disappointed with myself.

Day 3 Occupy Philly
Amendment 1
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
It is ironic that the Constitution was written in Philadelphia and Philadelphia informed Occupy Philly that there are limits to peaceful assembly. I decided to dedicate my Day 3 photo to Occupy Philly. Early this morning I drove into Philly to take pictures of the event. After interviewing the organizer I walked around for over two hours. It is hard to articulate what I was feeling. I chose this picture because it lets the viewer know what the Occupy Philly Movement was about.

Day Two - Photo Philly
On October 28 Philadelphia hosted Photo Philly. Every one in Philly was invited to take a picture of anything they wanted within the city limits. The only requirement was that the photograph had to be taken on that day. All the photos taken were collected and put on display in The Philadelphia Photo Arts Center. There were over 900 pictures included in the exhibit. The Picture below was a picture of some of the pictures taken that day. My picture was the last one in the second row. This picture below was taken with no flash at an ISO 2200, Aperture 6.3 and an F-Stop of 1/30.
I had a great time taking the picture and looking at the other 900 photos taken. I included the picture taken that day. The picture below was taken at an ISO 2000, aperture of 2.8 and an F-Stop of 1/50.

Day 1
Day 1 Black Friday
This is my first picture and it was taken at the Coventry Mall. I wanted to capture the excitement and movement of Black Friday. I did not have anything other than my camera. I placed my camera on top of a shoe box on a table in the food court. I needed a slow shutter-speed to show movement. My Camera was set at ISO 200, 2.8 A and an F-stop of 1 second.
Project 365
I have a passion for my job as a teacher. When I was hired at Radnor High School I agreed to be the yearbook sponsor. Little did I know it would reignite my passion for photography. I remember as a kid loving to take pictures, but I really only took pictures during vacation. My mother tells a story of me in Disney World running around taking pictures of all the Disney Characters. I spent most my time looking for Goofy and I was only able to get his back side. Mission Accomplished.
I have decided to take this challenge for several reasons:

I have decided to take this challenge for several reasons:
- Life is short and busy. This assignment will force me to slow down and observe.
- What did I do last week at this time? This assignment will provide a visual, a memory of that day last week.
- Reflection. Who has time for reflection? I rarely sit down and truly reflect on my day, my failures and my accomplishments. This assignment will force me to make time to reflect on my day and my photography.
- How can I become a better photographer? It is easy to photograph the Eiffel Tower, The Grand Canyon or even Disney Characters. It will be a challenge to find interesting objects from my everyday life. This will make me a better photographer. It will force me to look at objects differently.
- Why don't I enjoy writing? I wish I enjoyed writing, I wish I could sit down and write what I am thinking but I hate writing. Don't tell my students at school. I make them write all the time. They say it is therapeutical to write down your thoughts. My goal in this assignment is to let my photography represent my mood.
